"We're stuck in Michigan. The truck broke down. There was gas in the tank."
-Paraphrase of a phone message from my mom yesterday morning. Since there was no mention of who put gas in the diesel truck, I have a suspicion the perpetrator was in fact my mom.
I finally got my car registration taken care of. Gah. What a headache. But now it's done and all I need is a screwdriver to finish the job. Then, voila! My car will officially have plates.
I'm being productive today. Not only did I take care of my car: this morning, I finished my first critique of this month's batch. I also did the major grocery shopping thing this morning $125 all total. I shouldn't have to buy food again for a good long time. Still, feels kind of obscene for a single gal to have a cart that full of groceries. Oh well.
This is a collaborative blog. Well, let's face it, they all are. But, specifically, this one's a collaboration between me, my friend Camii, and sometimes my brother. Here you'll find waitressing stories, bar quotes, movie reviews, and the occasional cake.
