Sometime ago, maybe a year already, Beadbox went out of business. During their clearance, I ordered some square-ish purple swirly beads. Then I tried to figure out what to do with them. Over Christmas break, I found myself sitting in front of the TV working on bead projects. Since I had a lot of time to kill, I focused on necklaces that were a little more labor intensive than straight forward stringing. This necklace started out as a daisy chain, then, when that didn't take long enough, I added a few layers of net and finished the last off with the purple beads I'd been trying to do something with for a while. Viola!
When I was trying to get good pictures of my jewelry, I tried using a piece of tan flannel as my back drop. While I like the texture, I don't care for the color. Ah well, I'll just have to keep trying.
