On Friday, my refrigerator decided to die. I didn't realize that this is what had happened until yesterday (Oh, so that's why the fridge light isn't coming on). Currently, my front door is standing in my living room and there are odd noises and various grunts coming from the vicinity of my kitchen as the dead fridge is hauled off and replaced with a working one.
I have decided the best course of action is to hide in my office and stay out of the way.
Mom just had me come in the kitchen. She pointed to a burnt spot on the linoleum under where the fridge was. "You're lucky the house didn't burn down." So, that explains the burning smell.
This is a collaborative blog. Well, let's face it, they all are. But, specifically, this one's a collaboration between me, my friend Camii, and sometimes my brother. Here you'll find waitressing stories, bar quotes, movie reviews, and the occasional cake.

I have to say that I'm glad you lived through this ordeal. I guess we chalk it up to 'learning'?
Once, on an early date with Shane I tried to set his house on fire with the toaster...yeah, fire alarm went off and there were flames shooting from the toaster...oh, and he was on the phone with his mother at the time...so, yeah, made for a great early impression.
I hate learning.
oh, so that's why the milk tasted bad, and my tummy feels like it's twisting in knots...
