Denver Zoo

On the third day, we pack up, check out, and head to Denver Zoo on the way back home. It was fairly warm (mid 80's or so) and I was wearing jeans and walking shoes (i.e. not sandals) so I was feeling pretty toasty. So, it seemed, were many of the animals. A lot of the creatures were napping or lazing around.

Except for those who decided to get a little more proactive about cooling off.

After roaming the zoo for a few hours, we headed home in a nice, air-conditioned car. The best part, I didn't even get sun burned.
