Digital cameras are a beauitful thing. During the time Keith and I were in Estes Park and touring Denver Zoo, I took 183 pictures. Whoo-boy. Once I got home and loaded them on my computer, I quickly deleted a large chunk (roughly half, I think) but it was quite nice to have so many to pick and choose from. Just think, had I used a regular, film-requiring, camera, I wouldn't have all my lovely pictures.
Keith and I arrived in the early afternoon and checked into our cottage.

Around 6:00 things started looking gloomy and soon enough, it rained, sleeted, and hailed.
The mountains looked wonderful though, and when we came back to the cottage after picking up supplies from the grocery store, a handful of elk were just over the fence behind the cottage.
