Here is how you make smudge-pies, which are not like s'mores at all :)
Step One: Butter two pieces of bread.
Step Two: Lay the first, butter side down, on one half of the smudge-pie maker. Add a dollop of canned pie filling (apple, in this picture).
Step Three: Add the other piece of bread and put the smudge-pie maker together.
Step Four: Cook over the fire. (Demonstrated here by Kelsey)
Step Five: Eat.
