Finding a New David

For some reason the campus internet connection is moving molasses slow today, much to my frustration. Ah well, Katherine just called and I have a project now.

Katherine’s heading the committee that’s looking for David’s replacement. I’ll be helping to screen applicants – only minimally – by checking that their application materials are complete. Of course, anything I see will be in the strictest confidence, but it’s kind of neat to think that I’ll be in the loop on this, even in such a minor way.

So, my project is to get together a box, some file folders, and a check-out form to store the materials and keep track of who’s got them. Oh boy, it’s exciting.
