The Big One

A big storm raged in Denver today, and it headed south. I headed to work with my heavy winter coat in my car and a morbid optimism that we were in for a blizzard. I even fancied that we might have to shut the bar down early thanks to severe weather.

So, you can imagine my disappointment when the big blizzard failed to manifest. We didn't even end up with any accumulated snowfall. Instead of the excitement of a raging storm, I had only the tedium of a slow Friday and the annoyance of a ten and a half hour shift. Bah.
