In my family, the tradition is to do Christmas decorating the day after Thanksgiving. This year I got going early. My Christmas decorations are pretty minimal. Mostly I've just got a little artificial tree, but hey, it's festive. Now I've just got to figure out what to do with the two other strings of lights I bought after Christmas last year.

All of our friends say my family is weird for putting our Christmas sh*t up so early (to us, early is before Halloween, and yes, we have put it up Nov. 1). Glad to see that "weird" has company.

We put ours up on Thanksgiving...which is way earlier than normal, but Shane ate his Wheaties or something and took off running before we could stop him, the best we could do was catch up. The results are great though.
I'm sure you'll think of something with the lights...you are quite the creative one.
Funny, my tree was up before I stuffed the turkey on Thursday. I even got my freak on with the tree. The Jose 1800 made me do it :)
